I am hoping to use an image of a spinning coin for one of the stories to my children. The idea is to use it in reference to every story has two sides. My aim is to show the movement of the coin using a slow shutter speed but freeze the image, and showing the edge of the coin before it falls, using a rear flash.
These are some of my attempts so far. Not happy with the grey background so am going to light it separately
Oh and id better clean my lens.

FMP – Exhibition – Suspending work
Looking into ways of suspending work in the exhibition space.
One suggestion is to suspend a horizontal line in front of the window then use this to suspend work vertically.
This process would need two / four holes on each facing wall mounted with hook anchor shields. The wire rope would be secured using eyelets, wire clamps and a tension clamp.
hook anchor shields
Wire rope
Eyelets
Wire clamps
Tension clamp.
The positive for using this type of system is minimal holes are required to in the structure of the space with the possibility of mounting more work.
The possible negative is on removal of the anchor shields; the body of the screw may remain in the wall. This may be overcome by enlarging the hole before refilling or filling with the shield in place.

FMP – Exhibition – London space mock-up
This is a mock up for how I want to use my space in the London exhibition.
I want to use three display cases on the floor, covering approx 3.2m x 1.8m. In these cases I intend to display; a closed copy of the book inserted with a hand written letter; two further books showing open double page spreads; a stationary envelope and letter headed paper; two wrapped boxes containing personal items and a cd containing imagery and relevant information.
Above these cases I would also like to suspend two large format prints. These prints would show my emblem and book title on one and a photograph of a spread contained in the book.

FMP - Book – Title change
I have decided to change my book title from “If angels take my soul away” to “In the event of my untimely demise.”
The reason for this is, as I have edited the content for the book, I have begun to think about when this book would be relevant and presented to my children. It dawned on me that the most appropriate time would be if I never get the time to speak to them again.

FMP - book layout - Example
This is the layout I have decided on for my book layout. it is a square 12 inch format with 36 pages. I intend to leave the left side of the book plain and print my content on the right. The right page will have a six-column grid layout used to position a mixture of text and images. The name of the book will be printed vertically on each right page. The page folios will be in ascending order.

Box section - £40 (18mm x 2400mm x 1220mm) medium density fibreboard x 2 sheets
Cover - £110 (5mm x 3050mm x 2050mm) clear Perspex sheet.

FMP - When angels call – book title
So far a number of book titles have come to mind, although I have named it so far as “When angels call” I am still not convinced this is the one. My beliefs do not run conventally along the lines of god created heaven and earth in seven days.
I am more trusted in the big bang theory and the evolution of man. I am willing to accept that a man forsake his life to save all others and as the rest of the bible teaches.
For these reason I cannot be certain of a heaven or hell, or angels and demons.
For me to entitle this book as so far, I am 1. Believing in the fore mentioned 2. Assuming I am going up, not down.
